I visited my in-laws this weekend up in Maine and took the opportunity to snap some pictures...check them out...comments welcome.

A beach house in Biddeford Pool, I can dig it!



Sunrise on the beach!!! I desperately need a graduated ND filter to avoid underexposure in the foreground, and the seagull in flight's killing me here. One of my favorite of the 80 shots I took with the sun rising...put them together and you get a nice video of the sun coming up.


Some of the rocky beach immediately following Sunup. I like the long shoadows and gold light...

Why was I up at sunrise? I'm still trying to figure that out...I was out there looking for a lighthouse which I never found, though I was apparently pretty close to it the whole time.

There's something serene about watching the sun come up...
