regarding rallydecals.com

some of you guys must race at devens or know people who do, so i'm sure a few people here have ordered numbers for your cars from rallydecals.com...

back on september 21st i purchased a set of numbers for my car for autox events from rallydecals.com--for whatever reason i did not see a notice on their webpage saying keith (who is the owner or something) was going to be in KS racing and orders wouldn't go out until later in the month. after inquiring about my order he emailed me and told me he was out of town and that i would definitely get my numbers in time for the event on october 7th.

as it turns out keith was also racing at devens and he said he could bring the numbers to the event. i asked whether i would be refunded the shipping cost of $4.60 to which he responded that i would get the money back. after that i stopped hearing from him. we'd agreed on that he'd just mail me a check--but after i was ignored for a week or so i sent another email saying it would be fine to just paypal the money back to me.

so fast forward to today. my emails have gone unanswered, i don't have that refund, and paypal wouldn't let me file a dispute because you can now only do it within so many days of a transaction.

this is just a warning to guys who may consider making a change to an order placed with rallydecals.com. sure $4.60 isn't a lot of money--but i don't have a lot of money and $4.60 could get me food for a day. simply put: i'd rather eat for a day than pay for a shipping charge on something that was not shipped to me. since it looks like i may never get that money back i can at least post some sort of warning for other people.

Hmmm...did you call him? I don't remember if they have a number on the site. That's really too bad to hear b/c the times I've ordered I've never had a problem and the price is right for magnetic decals.

yeah, we'd been in contact but it all ended when the issue of how i'd get the money back got brought up.

Very sorry to hear that.

He posts reguarly on Nasioc and his attitude has steered me clear of his business. If you catch my drift.

A great place to order numbers/decals from is http://izoomgraphics.com/

They shipped to me very quickly and the quality was second to none.

thanks for the tip as to where else to go. my friend has a scooby but he doesn't do much stuff on the computer--i probably spend more time near NASIOC than he does, haha.

we just did a little more work to his rex today... with the launch control and the better tune he got we put down a 48' patch when he launched.
