I heard a random conversation today that I am not to sure about how true it is. I haven't been to NED before, but I have run 2 differnt tracks out in WA. I heard 2 guys talking to about NED changing their rules to that any car that runs has to have a cage. I tried to explain to them that usually its cars that run a certian time or faster, usally 11's, I'm not sure about NED.

According to their website NED is a IHRA track, so the rules should be the same, like 13.99 has to have a helmet, 10.99 has to have a bar or cage, whatever...that sort of thing, or am I missing something here?

I'm looking to go to the track this wendsday, I just want to know I'm going to get more than 2 runs in.

11.49 or faster you need a cage although I still have yet to be yelled at even when running 10.7-11.0's

how fast do u run?? a helmet is most likely all u will need. there are not strict about cages. if they ask u how fast u run and u think u do run under 11.49 then just don't tell them. say u run high 11's

i wish i was in the 11's, not yet though. I was running pretty consistant 12.8's before any of my mods. Curious to see what I am going to run Wendsday night. I've had all the mods in my sig since my last 12.8, plus raised my 2step up to 5500, I want to raise it again to 6k but I am not comfortable using my ECUflash enough to do it myself. I have the cable and whatnot, just don't know exactly how to do it.

But thats good to hear, I have the helmet already. Bringing the brother in law to the track wendsday night, who else is going to be there and anyone heading up from MA? What times?

i will be there and i will have my laptop with all software and cable necessary to change anything. i can change it for u and give u a intro course on ecuFlash if u want.

12.8 is no to bad for that trap. iv had trouble launching my car with my new clutch. still havn't found the sweet spot. i usually see around 12.6 @ 115.

yea, to bad i chickened out after 5 runs and shutting down my last two runs early... turns out that whine i was hearing was my WHINEboro, err, walbro fuel pump. im a dumbass, i know. next time :-D

come to think of it though, Brian (eatsleepboost) next time I'm up there and your there would you mind showing me how to log my car with EvoScan, I should have done it last night, but I'm getting knock at the top of 3rd & 4th and I would like to see why. Then I can email it to Aaron@English and he should be able to send me a new map with it fixed...but I'm not to sure on how to do it.

Do you have a laptop with evoscan on it and a tactrix cable? It's EASY to do. Just need to find out what parameters he will need from you and make sure they are checked off. Then just take a few 3rd gear pulls back to back from say 2K rpms-redline.
