Wow... 2 things...
*It doesn't look like it's a flat bed tow truck
*How did the fire start? Was he using meth, or did he hit that hard?

Looking at the accident, it looks like he was going pretty fast when he hit something... Ouch!

The crash happened because an suv was fully stopped on a blind curve on a highway. The driver decided either to sacrifice himself and go into a wall or hit the suv and cause a pile up.

doesn't need to be flatbed'd as long as you got the a set of wheels in the air spinning freely it won't hurt the drivetrain. its only when you put it on the wheellift and strap it down do you hurt the car.

No one called the guy out in his thread on this - http://forums.evo-ny.com/index.php?topic=14430.0

You'd probably need to post up in there and ask for clarification as to exactly where it happened.

He said Exit 17 on the Cross Bay. I don't know if that's Howard Beach. Just going by what he said.

"It happen to me bro..on the belt pkwy this morning heading to brooklyn with some friends...i sacrifice myself and my car to a avoid a six car crash...exit 17 cross bay...right under the underpass...suv stopped right under the bridge in that curve i mean full stop on the highway bro...blind spot...cars were swirving trying to get away...didn't see him till last minute...so i threw myself on the wall...luckily no one got hurt so i guess i made the right move "

Those people in NY are crazy Drivers. I honestly believe I can do 4th Gear logs on the highway and still get passed and cut off.
