Help me identify this Evo (pics)

Hello Everyone,

New member here, hoping to pick myself up an Evo soon. I was hoping if I could have a little help trying to find some more info on a potential purchase. Seems like this is the correct place to ask so here it goes;

Found this for sale in my area. With the following mods;
3" HKS Downpipe
HKS 3" Cat-back exhaust (polished)
Random Technology High Flow Cat
HKS 280/280 cams
AEM ram air intake
Greddy RS blow off valve
Hallman manual boost controller
Walbro 255HP fuel pump
Custom Ecu tune on dyno
ACT Evo Street Disc clutch

APR Front wind splitter
APR Bumper canards
APR Rear diffuser
OEM Mitsubishi Vortex generator
UK style "EVOLUTION VIII" badge

I'm real interested in picking up this car, but I wanted to try and get a shot at talking to the last owner before committing. Has anyone from the NorthEast seen this car or possibly know the owner? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The car is located at a dealer in the Plymouth county area. I was initially worried that it was picked up at auction, but from the knowledge of the mods, someone had to have traded it in and given them the specs on everything.

i would be a bit worried about buying a car that has that many mods to it. you dont know what it has gone through and where it has been. i would try searching for another car with less mods IMO

I hear you. That's my big reason for trying to find the last owner. I'll probably start trying to find another car in a few days if I don't have any luck getting a hold of him/her.

MEVo, you are the man! Car was reported to be in an accident in 06 where
"Vehicle involved in crash and ran off roadway and hit utility or light pole"
Color was then listed as white!

It looks like this car has something a little fishy going on with it.

Yea, no kidding!

I'm too curious to let this go now. I'm going to head to the dealership and see if they try and pass it off as a clean car.
