Well this is now my fourth day just North of San Diego in the Del Mar area, and all I can think of is how I want the car out here for a day long cruise up the PCH.

Everything is gorgeous out here, weather, beaches, lifestyle, girls... totally unfair. I think we all live in the wrong part of the country.

 

dude we totally do. ive gone there the past couple of yrs to play lax, and SD is where its at. everytime i go there i never wana come home. last time i was there i saw a silver R34 gtr...girls bikes cars weather beach sun tijuana....haha

 

SD is definitely where its at.. Sorry I didnt find the name of that Thai place for ya.. It's like 10 min north of the dog beach

 

Tim (steinvb) and I may cruise on some winding backroads on sunday morning if dry out. if anyone else is interested, let us know. i am thinking around 9ish. early but not too too early.

i wanna try to make this a regular thing. weather permitting.

my next door neighbor cruises in his 66 GTO every sunday morning. maybe i can get him interested. his route sounds super lame though so he may opt out.

 

I'll be down in the future, just this weekend is no good... and you know this... man.

If any of you guys are looking for something to do next weekend I may try to go the the Pagoda Hill Climb in Reading on saturday. Its a two day event. I'll racing at cbp on sunday but would like to check it out on sat. I went to the Hershey event a couple of years ago and it was pretty cool.

dude the pagoda hill climb in reading is so much fun. i made that drive with some friends (about 8 rsx and civics) from wilmington. took like 2 1/2 - 3 hrs of amazing winding back roads...so much fun. if your going to do that as long as im here im in. keep me posted on sunday morning drive that sounds like fun, may rain tho...

This is a SCCA event. None of us would be driving, unless you sign up too. I don't know whats all invovled with doing hillclimbs ie safety equipment and what not. I just want to spectate.

 

When the **** is it going to stop raining!!!!! I thought we were supposed to have scattered t-storms today, but it's been raining since I woke up this morning I wanted to get my grass mowed today.

 

Yeah, to do the hillclimb, you need a roll cage, 5-6 point harness, fire suit, ect.
