You just misses us then. We left a little after 3pm to go to TGI Fridays. Maybe next time...

It was nice meeting those who I haven't yet, and also seeing some familiar faces. Dan - you can detail my car anytime....lol....

Did you guys go to the FGIF's in Exton? Shelly said there was 9 Evos at the one right down the road. She went out to get more paint, I was stuck here taping and cutting in... If so you guys were 3 min from my house.. I could have used a few extra hands.

Well I had a couple of problems. One being a leaking Oil Supply line. I thought it would be a good idea to get the Oil Supply Line/Filter from Forced Performance. Well it gave me nothing but problems. It was leaking right where the banjo bolt threads into the filter housing. I decided to just install the stock hard line and my problem went away. Another issue I had was the fact that I slapped on a new oem gasket onto the JMFab o2 Dump. That didn't work out so well since the wastegate and exhaust are totally divorced so basically it was leaking through the dump pipe. I had to remove my exhaust manifold again and bust some knuckles to get my o2 housing back off without removing the turbo or radiator. I then installed the proper gasket and viola!!! No more leak! Now I have an exhaust leak at the downpipe. I decided not to use the original donut gasket and use the gasket that came with my Helix o2. Well it's not working so well so I'm kind of up in the air as to whether I'm going to re-use the original gasket or buy a new one. Slowly but surely I'll get there.

Read my post above. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. Next time I'm paying someone to do it.

so last night, i was returning from stamford, CT and a strange problem started appearing on the evo. everytime i am starting from a stop with my steering turned, just when i'm slipping the clutch a little before releasing it all the way, the engagement is kinda hesitant. its kind of a mix between light stuttering and slipping. The only thing that has changed on the car is the new tires. would this cause something like this, or is my clutch on its way out? I've got 13,000 odd miles on it.

sounds odd, don't know. I have a funny noise if I'm close to full lock on the steering wheel and I accelerate from a stop but nothing I can feel.

hmm, looks like I definitely need to make it to the next meet. I'll try to figure out if I can reproduce it consistently. At least then, one of you guys can take a look and help me figure it out.

Yes. 20 percent all around, and haven't had a problem with the po-po.
