Found out that my DP has a leak at the flex part of it... POS well I did get it used. Thinking about taking it to the shop to get that part cut out and get it fitted with just a solid piece welded onto it... Any suggestions or concerns you guys have? Let me know!!

Cool cool.... Thanks for the heads up. It's crazy how on just about every ct thread on other forums everybody is from the center or north/east part of the state. No one is ever in my area. Ohh well.

Very sick #s you got on that evo... Pump gas too I bet... Right? Have u been to the track with it at all with those #s?

I may have to take a cruise then to Hartford area for one of your meets so I can check out some sick EVOs.

I think flex pipes suck... The flex section on an aftermarket up-pipe I had broke after only a year.

No, haven't hit the track with it yet. She's still a mork in progress. She'll be done this winter. Then i'll let her loose. Til then she pretty much stays parked. Only for about another month or two though.

Gonz what downpipe are you using that has flex pipe on it? That stuff is crap and will rust out in a couple of years. If they used flex pipe it probably means they were too lazy to engineer a proper solid downpipe that had no fitment issues from car to car. I have had the complete buschur TBE for just over 4 years now and have never had an issue with any piece of it. Not saying that all others are crap but this particular exhaust isnt the cheapest (excluding ebay TBE's of course) and performs very well.

Any way work on getting that flex section out of there.

Good luck.

Ethan

I've had Magnaflo and Borla and they're both great as well. Magnaflo is sooooo deep! lol. Borla is pretty throaty too. I love that deep muscle car-like sound.

The DP I bought from spec-ops they said was a Megan DP but when I got it it had a label tacked on saying t-pros.

I'm probably going to go to an exhaust shop to have them cu it out and weld on a section of 3" pipe on it.

Cold is not the problem, it is anything that will make the ground more slippery that it already is when riding a 200whp bike
