Connecticut Evos
Looking at CBRD's shop looks awesome and I have also heard GREAT things about them. Not to mention the BBK series turbos seem to preform really well. I think Liam would have more input about them though as he goes there on the regular.
My .02 or .03 i guess..
Good luck!

It sounds like hes been to both but generally goes to CBRD. That where he was tuned according to his sig anyway. I think they are in York PA maybe? He said York and Im pretty sure they are in PA somewhere so i put em together... heh.
Im sure he will chime in and let us know.

As you all know, i previously had a silver Evo that was built and tuned at The Shop in Norwalk, CT. They did amazing work and it was matched with a tune that i have YET to feel a car with a better tune. Unfortunately, the tuner that was there, Junior, now works at TurboTrix. Since he has moved there, i have heard good things about this place as well. I would never doubt a tune from Junior over there. As for the shop he works at now, i cant vouch for them. That's mostly the places i was talking about. Also, i think Noah can kinda vouch for this one, EFI Logics seems to be a pretty good place as well. I'm hoping to find out in January.
EFI is FTW... Everything they do is TOP NOTCH. You may pay a little more there, but you KNOW its done right. And Chris is probably one of the best tuners on the east coast of the US... I haven't seen him do many 120398123WHP evos that do 3.7 @ 420mph in the quarter, but i've seen them build countless Road race cars, as well as many drag cars..
If they didn't know what they were doing, they wouldn't be doing this..

Yes thats them, 1, 2, and 3 in front of the pack at lime rock.
Oh and they build motors too...

^Cool pics. I agree. EFI seems to be more pricey but if they really do top notch work and have capable tuners then its worth it. Thats why I thought I was making the right choice with Ivey. Result not so right of a choice. I think I remember seeing on EFI's website that they were doing about $500 for a tune which is steep. Ivey was right with there with 450-475 i think.
Btw on a side note. The one tuner that Ive used so far and really like was Chris at Mellon tuning. He set me up with a great tune and has AMAZING customer service skills. That goes a long way...with me anyway. These people are selling a product. If they dont like dealing with customers or dont know how to they should either learn or not sell things. The only thing with Mellon Tuning is that its an e-flash so you have to have your own equipment and the time to do the logging.

I have never been to Ivey just saw alot of good things from him overall. Yes i go to CBRD all the time. I have had one major build, and alot of minor things done overall. I currently run a BBK Full ported Turbo and love it. CBRD is really good and stand behind there work 100%. They are doing more and more, and i expect more great things to come from them in the future. They have a fabrication shop in house now and are in the process i believe of getting another shop up and running to move to i believe. Anyways if you are interested in CBRD you can shoot Chad a PM on here. They are quite a hall though. there in York PA which is about 4 hours from bridgeport.
Side note. CBRD is the only place whos ever really touched my car.

Hooked up the Innovate to my car tonight and also hid it very well behind the dash. All I have left to do is to screw the sensor into the bung tomorrow when I am changing my tranny fluid.
I went to turbo trix and got tuned in oct. Junior started and mark finished it ,, what a waste of time and money .
And my car ran like **** .
I then went to the guy where junior worked at and got the guy who gives junior his maps and like some one posted earlier ...this guy is amazing he takes his time and explains things to u . And gives you the feeling that you want when you are spending your money
Well They made my ride run great at all gears
And I'll recommend them till my finger falls off
Thanks John @ the shop ct.

nope. spoke to him recently and it's still $500. That's for the tune(no matter how long it takes) and for a dyno run as well. from what i understood, he wont tune the car if he thinks there is ANYTHING wrong with it. My car will be going up there in January probably. I'm going to have them go through the entire car and make sure everything is on point, adjust my suspension, then tune it. I'm bankin on around a thousand bucks, but the car will be COMPLETELY ready to run!!!!

Thats the only downfall in my opinion. I dont want to have to go that far up there just to tell him i need to do/fix something. It would be like going back to the previous shop all over again. It's a nightmare. I'm just going to drop it off and tell them that if they run into any problems just fix it and ill pay for it all in the end. lol.
Does anyone else on here have a Speed Density Kit? Just curious how it's working for you. I have one and i am concerned with who im going to have tune it because of this....
Does anyone know if The Shop in Norwalk or EFI Logics in Bethel will tune a car with Speed Density?
