Searching within there has always gotten me great results, usually packed with pictures and step by step instructions.

If you already have your mind set on dealer maintenance, I've only ever gone to one mistu dealer up in New Britain CT: Schaller Mitsubishi. They have always done very well by me, fixed anything they ****ed up (on the rare occasion that they do) and they have very reasonable prices. Although, I don't have any experience with OTHER mitsu dealers so take that for what its worth.

However, the drive up to New Britain would be brutal probably.

You could also check out EFI Logics. They are a huge tuning shop with an awesome rep, and I think they do service. They are just outside of the Danbury area.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip. Looks like I have another reason besides the 15k service to see these guys.

Get this...I ordered snows and had them shipped to a shop to have them mounted. The shop damaged to my car! Unreal...

Anyone have a good body shop in CT? I want to take it to a dealer....Any experience with Schaller's body shop?

I have used Schaller before. They are ok in my opinion. I used them about 3 years ago to grind my rotors because they were warped. The car had 13k on it and they charged me saying I mus ltnhave drove through a puddle. $300 later they were ok for a few months.

I have used their body shop as well. I had some rust develop on the drivers side rear quaterpanel. After some argument they were able to do it under warentee and their body shop did the work. It was just ok for about 1 year then the rust came back. I've got to bring it back to them to see if they will fix their shorty work. This was done under the 10 year 100k corrosion warrantee. This is just my personal experience. Mitsubishi in general sucks for warentee work or for most things honestly. Try it though they might be different now. Report back with your experience If you don't mind. Good luck.

Dyno'd the rally car on friday finally..

Big thanks to Swift Performance Automotive in Norwich for the Dyno Time & MixMasterMatt for the tune..

Mods are:
EvoIX Turbo
Megan o2 Housing
Gruppe S Rally Turbo Back
Injen Intake, FMIC, and FMIC Piping
HKS BOV
Walbro Fuel Pump
GSC S1 Cams

Red line is before, blue line is after.. 280lb/ft of torque before 3k rpms? Don't mind if I do... The TephraMod NLTS & Launch Control are also pretty awesome.. Its a rough graph, but its on the stock boost control solenoid, and was a fairly quick tune..

This summer the car will get GM 3 Bar MAF, IAT, I'm gonna slice & dice & port an intake manifold, EGR delete, bigger injectors, and have a retune for Speed Density... We blew off an IC pipe on the test drive playing with the Launch Control, and speed density will help us at least finish if we have that happen during a race..

EDIT: And I have to say... I love noise cancelling transit headphones even more on the dyno than I do on the highway!

LOL i remember when I first loaded up my V7 rom a year ago. I was testing out the launchmap and it blew off my ic pipe. The bigmaps in v7 really do make tuning alot smoother. Congrats on the power and 280 lb/ft before 3k is crazy!! You need to bring it out one of these days.

Yeah... The down low torque is CRAZY fun. The other issue is that the couplers that came with the Injen FMIC & IC Piping are very short, and aren't very forgiving... We'll be replacing them with longer ones to help prevent blowoffs, and probably give it the Hairspray treatment as well.

Thanks for the info! Anyone else have recommendations for a body shop in CT? I'm in lower Fairfield, but will travel...

I'm kicking myself for not taking it there to get my tires mounted.

The hamfisted tech I took it to did AT LEAST $1,000 in damage. That's not even counting the rims he seemingly took a belt sander to. Seriously though, I need a good body shop!
