Anybody have a MAF intake or K&N type drop in filter they wanna get rid of ASAP? Taking the rally car for a tune tomorrow, and i'd like to ditch the paper filter.

hey guys, whats new? finally got another evo after totalling the other one. good news is they're going to sell me back my old one so that i can get all my parts off of her and put em on my new one. looking at a pretty big project. hope to meet up with y'all soon.

So what was the turn out for all the turmoil that you were going through. Were you able to get back anything off of the car or what? I am really happy for you man. Let me know if you need help as I really got nothing better to do after work usually.

i live about 10 min from waterbury...im exit 15 off 84! but i dont have an evo

 

hey japan. its nice to hear from ya man. and as far as that goes, hell yeah, i could definitely use your help! im on leave in indiana right now, but as soon as i get back the insurance company is going to tow my totalled evo to wherever i want it towed to. so i have to start stripping it down asap. its gonna take a looooooot of work. i gotta get my engine outta there and pretty much everything that i can use or sell off of it, then its getting sent to the scrap yard. once that's done then the project begins. the new one i have will basically be taken apart bumper to bumper and competely redone. engine, body, interior, the whole works. ill take any help i can get. in return i can give you some stuff from the totalled car if you need anything. we could work it all out. i think its going to be almost as much junior's project as it is mine too. seeing as i dont know much about the cars, junior has been nice enough to help me with all of this. :-)

 

wow thats looks like alot of work but a fun project, i dunno if i may be of much help but i wouldnt mind coming by and helping/ watching and bull****ing with you. May give me a chance to learn a little bit about evos...send me a pm or something when you plan on working on it
