Feeler for a Mellon travel tune session

I've been speaking with Mellon regarding him coming up to the area for a tune session. I know alot of people do the mail in with him so that's why I wanted gauge how much of an interest there would be to have him come up. Right now I figured it for 5 people and per car it would be $600. Depending on how many people we can get the price might drop. Most likely these would be road tunes.

600 is pretty expensive for a road tune, no?

What about Ivey? Isn't he local? Why not get a group together so he can do some tuning?

a local road tune is 350 (very cheap) but we're talking about flying in spending a day or two, travel and lodging expenses. In the end I'm still only making 350 per car after expenses and it takes me away from my e-flash tuning time.

If 5 people want to drive to Memphis it'll be 350 per car (see how that works)

In a Mellon tuning thread not to mention...

We're off to a great new vendor start... Let's plug other vendor threads.

Whats so bad about doing it yourself and e-mailing it? Mellon can definetly handle business throught the internets.

true, the process remotely is exactly the same but some people want to get tuned more quickly and prefer to have someone in the car with them guiding them along the way. I think it's a personal preference.

For anyone interested in Mellon coming around the area, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed, he's a class act.
