thats where the car was tuned before
20psi and afrs that were 12.0:1 all the way up to 12.5:1
I logged it and it had alot of knock.
It didnt even feel that fast
Im having shameless tune me and things are going much better!
cause my tune came out perfect and my car moves like a bat outta hell for having 4 power mods....
114 traps at 21 psi with a blown clutch is my proof of DSG's work....

i highly doubt that. My car is tuned from DSG along with about 10 other of my buddies and we all have perfect tunes.....iv been tuned from a few places and i put dont the most power and the safest tune from DSG. well good luck with road tune hope everything works out!
not trying to knock dsg...but i'd stay away from there tuning. They may "feel" ok...but if you start looking at the tunes more in depth you'll see varying afr's and timing issues. I've heard from several people now that their tunes weren't so great. Their fab work is still pretty decent though.
You could go to a guywith no dyno and a website with a "power estimator" and no way to back it up or you could go to a shop with a dyno and an EFI 101 graduate with certs in virtually every EMS system made who tunes cars for Pro Rally, SCCA road racing, hillclimb and endurance racing.
My Evo dream,
What do you mean by "varying AFRs? what do you mean by timing issues? "Not trying to knock Myevodream" but these statements are the type of thing someone would say that has no grasp on what they're taking about but still wants to throw a comment out there. Who's car are you refering to?
If anyone has a tune from DSG and has concerns about logging post-tune I'd encourage them to come back or call DSG so they address the tunes and concerns and we'll do whatever it takes to make them happy.
Here's a car we tuned in action. It's on 30psi uphill for about 2.5 minutes straight. Does the general community think it's remotely possible to put the same stress on their street car?

I'd like to add that I understand sometimes people can have bad experiences. It's happened here. We all make mistakes. I just think it's BS when either no one speaks up about it to us first, or people who have never had a bad experience like to share "stories they've heard" that may or may not hold water.

I have freinds with subbys and other kinds of cars that swear to DSG in the autocross world. I think road racing, hill climb and autocrossing are really the only kinds of racing that matters and it's good they can focus on those things.
I'm literally a life long DSG customer unless I move to the other side of the country haha. Their install was perfect and they tune was great as well.
As a matter of fact, we were predicting 105-106 traps with my tune but without messing with the boost or ANYTHING, I was going almost 10 mph faster. They are more then perfect people to deal with IMO
EDIT: you know what actually sucks the most.... I want DSG to do my clutch install but I know for a fact my car wont make it that far :-( a tow from ayer-norwood = BIG BUCKS!

thats as much beating on a car as it gets
I don't know shameless, so I can't speak from experience or even from talking with him.
After seeing DSG's work and talking to Bill and Alex, they definitely have some good knowledge working on these cars and their work is very good
