Upstate NY EVOs
Hey...I'm the yellow one you see around albany
I goto LVD pretty frequently and the track prep is GREAT on Saturdays but horrible on Wednesdays (they don't put down any VHT, you just get Sat's leftovers). If anyone ever wants to meet up just let me know.

I'm live in the Glens Falls area, a little north, but I make my way down to Albany once in a while. My wife's work is transferring her to Albany in Jan, and *gasp* she says she wants to drive the Evo to work sometimes when I am off to save gas, so you might see it around there.

It'd be great to get some more Evos at the local autocrosses (www.MoHud-SCCA.org). I'm usually the only Evo there, surrounded by Subies - except for a red '05 Evo that shows up when we're at FMCC. You Capital Region guys should come out next season and run with us.

There are actually quite a few Evo's that go to lebanon valley. There have been the 4-5 times I went this summer. I went on the last night of test and tune for this year with my dads stock 97 Grand Marquis with 160k on her as a joke with my friends. And I ended up running against a kid with a MR running low 12's all night
haha There was also a blue 1st gen eclipse/talon running real low 10's.

As far as I understand it, the RPI events are only open to current RPI students and alumni. I'm a Bloomburg U man, myself. I do autocrosses with MoHud SCCA, Boston BMWCCA, and track events with Patroon BMWCCA and Genesee Valley BMWCCA. I made it to 14 events - 17 days worth - this year. And now I sit and plan out mods while the lousy weather rages until next April.
Make sure to come to an event next season - www.mohud-scca.org

Yeah thats what I mainly heard about the RPI event too, but last year a friend of mine went with some of his other friends and they were allowed to do it even though none of them attend RPI. I have a bunch of friends there so maybe I can find out some more info from them. I'll have to try to make it out to the MoHud stuff too next year
