Hey guys,

As the title says, looking to see if there are any evo owners in the upstate ny area. I live around philly and have met a ton of real cool guys down there, but go to school in Ithaca Ny. Most of my car friends drive subies (yea, i no...), and im looking to see if theres any evo guys up around my area. I try to autoX when I can and make a few trips out to the glen. I remember a couple evo guys are up in cuse', just looking to see if theres any other. would like to meet some new guys. post up if your around the area and maybe we can meet up sometime (if the weather gets nicer). Let me know!

I live out in Olean NY (middle of nowhere, south of Buffalo). Outside of Buffalo and Rochester, there aren't many (or any at all) Evos out in Western NY. My girlfriend is from the Binghamton area, so I've spent a lot of time there, and I've never seen an Evo; she saw one once, but it had Connecticut plates.

You should check out the Phoenix CMR event at Watkins Glen in June: http://www.phoenixcmr.com/june_track_event_frame.htm I went last year to the August event and it was a blast. I plan to sign up this week for the June event.

 

I'm stuck in seneca falls for another 3 years, hopefully 2.
Thats not too far from where you are. I been to the Ithaca mall once. HAHA.
I see more buggys (amish not vw) than import tuner car around here.

 

yea thats not too far at all...yea I guess you could call that a mall...haha. anyone else up around you? like i said I know there are a couple of cuse guys, but not sure who else. if either of you are ever interested in meeting some more evo guys just let me know!

 

I am from Rochester area, but down in va. There is a decent amount in rochester and a great shop up there if you dont know. stmdsm.com

 

I'm about 20 miles away from Ithaca. I normally head over your way about one or twice a week to do some volunteer work but I might be around more often for the next couple of months.

I know at least one other Evo guy (VIII GG MR) in my area. He's on the boards occasionally.

Yea i have seen that gg evo a couple of times. looks to be an older guy, nice looking car tho. I met one guy whos got a drag set up silver evo8 thats real sweet. there another guy that has a blue one but its beat to hell and he doesnt care about cars. So your in ithaca a couple of times a week? we should try to get some evos together and meet up. one of my friends just got a silver 05 as well so were getting more and more. glad to hear im not alone and stuck with these subie guys...
