MA Installation Help For $

Whats up guys? Would anybody be willing to help me replace my headgasket? The dealership voided my warranty...Im a pretty hands on person but I dont feel comfortable pulling the head by myself for the first time. I live in Medfield MA. Your efforts would be greatly appreciated and you would be reimbursed for your time. Thanks a lot guys!

PS Im currently at school so this wouldnt be until my spring break from March 27th to April 5th or assuming thats not possible, over the summer.

Well I have never dealt with the timing belt. But I assume if I mark it and use zip ties it wont be an issue. I plan to use ARP headstuds and i figured since my head is coming off I minds well throw some cams in there. Where in MA do you live?

i am usually in the woburn/ lowell area. if you want to do it the way like u said with the zipties you will need the timing belt tool. that long threaded bolt to relieve the tensioner so u have enough slack to remove gears/ belt from the cams. I'v done mine that way before. if you are due or close to due for a timing belt you may want to do that also

Lowell unfortunately is about an hour away from me so that probably wouldnt be to convenient for you...I dont have the timing belt tool but im sure I could acquire one really easy as I used to work at the stealership and am good friends with a couple of the guys there. Oh and my car has 14000 miles so no need to replace my timing belt.
