So the 09 dragracing season is here so i thought id get a thread going for everyone to know when everyone else is going so more people will go, also to post up your times if you want. well let this be a good season and hopefully nobody breaks

so is anybody going for opening day tomorrow. i might but it depends how im feeling iv been sick all weekend till now and hope im good for tomorrow

Tony, when are you heading up? My FMIC is back ordered so I wont be getting it for another 2 weeks so I probably wont be doing any racing until its installed and tuned. Hopefully that'll happen within the next 3-4 weeks.

opening night too cold and raining but i still went i did horrible 12.9 best nobody got traction, well looks like ill wait a lil while till the weather get better

yea good idea with the thread start tony. I thought i would have to do it again. i started it up last year and it got huge. im sure this one will do the same

Boosted 9, I showed up in the blue STi with gray stripes, got out and looked at your car. Didn't reconize anyone near it so just chilled and waited to see you run.

I saw your 12.9 Tony, car sounds great. To bad for crappy traction. I just might keep my winters on for next wendsday if I dare to run...tempted.

yea that 12.9 pass you seen i bogged really bad then ended up spinning after i boosted lol and yea the O2 dump dose sound good lol so when will you be racing AJ?

Hmm, probably early May. My car is being finished in the body shop right now. Then I have some stuff to fix on it. While I go to Florida from the 14th-23rd my car is going to DSG to have the 30k service and the transmission looked at to make sure it's okay (my 6th gear is hard to get into, think I might need a syncro or something). After that I am hoping to have Turco finish my tune and go racing from there.

I have to make this season count, my gf is pregnant (just found out) so next year is going to be very minimal. I might roll up to NED next week but I will not race my car with the trans acting up. But I'll deff say hi since now I know exactly what you car looks like, I couldn't place who you were last night. Knew I knew who's car it was, just couldn't figure out who. Once I heart the o2 dump I figured it out real quick

Edit: I am breaking 11's or I'm going to **** a brick. I could have done it last year I think, but my clutch & tires sucked, and so did the track prep. Turco wanted to tune my car for 24psi, I think I'm going to have him do 26 and be happy, at least 25 and change.
