Just out of curiosity is there anyone here in the area on this board? I've owned my Evo for over 3 years and have never had any responses in the spotted thread. I met the owner of a WW 8 at the AT&T store today and we talked alot about the cars so much that I pissed my wife off. It kind of made me think about how I've never met any other owners outside the 2 friends I already had who owned one in the past. I pass a GG 9 on rt 30 a few times a week, several 8's 9's and X's around West Chester where I work and there's a yellow 8 with green rims I see occasionally in Exton. None in Coatesville where I live but theres a few heading away from me toward Gap that I see from time to time. I drive the dropped, and very loud rally red 8 with bronze Enkeis and the vanity plate FEARED. I used to drive a blue STI too but I don't have that anymore.

 

Im around you just never spot me Im all over Chester County. I have seen the yellow with green combo before and a few others. I have seen a black ix with carbon hood everyday for the last few days in Eagle, A white X just moved in the thorndale area. Oh and I have a WW IX RS

I will be keeping my eye out

 

If you're in or around Thorndale I think I've seen you in the STI or my wifes volvo but not while in my evo.

 

i am the WW X that moved into the thorndale area. i just got here on thursday so keep an eye out for me. i will be training it to work most days and driving on somedays. i will keep an eye out for you and your license plate. if some dude in a corrolla (my wife's) tries to get your attention, that's probably me and not some punk ricer trying to race.

Hehe. I'm still tuning it back to a 2.0 with a stock frame turbo after running a 2.3L with a
T61. For the next few weeks while I sort out the tune, it's not unlikely that a stock X might hand me my ***. It feels so much slower now.

I ran into one today on 30 that I've seen at the Walmart/Home Depot in Parksburg a few times near the GNC I go to. Rally red with a JDM rear, CF hood and yellow headlights. It was zipping in and out of traffic aggressivly. I caught up when the cars cleared out but he wouldn't even look over at me. It wasn't accelerating very quickly when WOT so I'm guessing it's just running boltons. Does this one ring a bell to anyone here? I've seen him before and posted in the spotted section, but again no hits.
I thought I saw Dan yesterday running to Autozone, but as I got in the parking lot it was just a white lancer. I'll have to come to one of the meets soon. Most my friends currently drive domestics or are starting families. I don't get to many automotive related events anymore. I'm going to start working toward a NASA or SCCA license and begin attending some junior level races.
Jeff, I'll see you eventually if you're on the road much. Since I got rid of the STI I've put an average of 200 miles a week on the Evo. We're bound to run into one another.
