3 Evo on dirt.

We officially had a 2nd practice weekend . I can summit up like this:
It was Great experience to learn where we are, and how we need to proceed.

We got in the AMS /Wilwood/ Gravel kit for the X. So we installed it and test it.
Works great!.
Thanks for AMS for the support ! Great guys for sure.
Also we tested the under armor parts designed and installed by Jeff from BRIautoengeneering and Breneden from Driver Technologies.

WE still on OEM suspension + rear breaks, so we had to run the 18 inch Speedline Corse with Toyo R1R

Twistedevo8 from the forum joined us for the weekend and he did great with his driving !!!
Also he helped a lot on "marshaling" in the woods

So thanks for everyone , and here is some pics :
/no video yet/

Brenden on the test corse at the BRiauoengeneering:

Tim /Twistedevo8/
same test course:

after install the AMS gravel kit:

And me in the woods testing the breaks:

How are the 18" wheels working out? Can you switch to Evo 8/9 brakes so you can at least run 17s with some meatier rubber?
And what everybody else said - post some normal pics :-)

i'll running 15 inch on gravel and loose surface, as soon as we figure it out the rear break situations.
10 rims is on the way , will be here in the next week/speedline course/ the tires are still under negotiation.
the ct9a breaks are not working on the x. We find that one out already. we even try the evo 7 rear breaks too.

these are the pics i got , but i will post some better ones, from our next day which is aug. 13-14-15

thanks for looking.

Why won't they work? Just an FYI, the rear brembos clear 15's on our rally 8... And we are running JDM Lancer 2 pistons in the front which clear the 15's just fine.

Man I wish we had access to private testing grounds...

Pm me about August 14 test day . friday if you interested we have additional info and video about the test ground. You will love it. It is up in the Adirondack. Race track 600 acre , race gas on sight , rest room, and BBQ
Marshals too ...
Top of everything else, tarmac gravel dirt mix , we can laydown the track as we want it.

Also the X rear break is huge. So it simply doesn't clear it. The CT9A breaks have a different suspension at the rear so i cant swap the breaks, We tried with the 8 and the Evo 7 rears already.

well thats a bummer... What about regular lancer brakes for the rear? Is the rear suspension the same for the evo as it is the lancer?
