I'm not offering to do it, just explaining that it's not easy to do. Actual coating isn't very difficult once you get a handle on coverage, but the prep can be daunting. I work in West Chester for an engineering firm. We have a coating setup for a lot of the OEM stuff we do and I am one of the lead techs so I used to do it a few times a week and I do it for friends when I need extra cash. I bought a ton of my mods that way. Any of the vendors mentioned will do a fantastic job.

bump !

I'm in York PA as well, What's the turn around like in these places and does anyone know if they have the tools needed to take the tires off the rims at their location?

Most places seem to be a two week turn around, these are the only rims I have (that's why I want them coated, cheaper then buying new rims...) ...I can't realy drive on nothingness >.< lol.

Can't really drive two hours to drop off rims, and drive back with not tires

Guess I'm screwed?

Unless mediocre is your thing
x2 This place is the real deal. They have pretty quick turnaround as well. They are a full service shop that can mount/balance if you need it.

That's not true. I've powder coated aluminum and steel as thin as 1/16" with absolutely no warping. The vast majority of wheel manufacturers powdercoat as opposed to painting.

igo do u know me, i didnt know u knew me but apparently u do by the way u called me out. nice internet muscles.

back to topic, my friends wrx has coated wheels i dont recal what type of wheels but they r aftermarket and one wheel is horribly warped. id say it depends on the manufacturing of the wheels and materials used.
