That was said with no graphs. And on what correction factor this time? Last time it was 20%, those numbers could be 30% for what we know. IF he did in fact make 740whp uncorrected don't you think they would have posted up the dyno charts right away? The fact that they did not makes it pretty clear what happened.

How are people not going to get caught up when the sole purpose of this thread is to discuss his quest for 700whp. This thread was about the numbers from the start, nothing more. Furthermore when they posted numbers with a laughable CF other vendors started calling them out.

Exactly. They got called out for their CF and found out they could not make the claimed power uncorrected.

I agree completely about the correction factor deal, uncorrected is the best way and if you want dynojet numbers go to a dynojet. I have personally done both and say around an 11 percent difference between a 1.0CF DD dyno and a dynojet.

However he did say the 740whp was done on a 1.1CF so who knows.

I think DG is trying to lay low on this forum after that huge install catastrophe that was posted up. Oh well.

Agreed but I could also tell people that I make 750whp on a 33R (I don't), but nobody will believe me unless I post dyno graphs.

I have honestly read a great deal of this thread while all of this happened and stayed out of it for the most part until the results were finished. All of the "it shoudl make this much on another dyno" and "we made the same as another car with the same mods" drives me nuts. Unless you are physically laying the numbers down it is all just a guessing game.

I am still holding to what I said before. I think the motor popped. Otherwise they would have posted up their "740whp" stock bottom end graphs to show off.

So we are "haters" because DG and TJ both have not backed up their claims? I don't see how vids will shut anyone up at this point considering the fact that it appears the goals were not met. TJ is not an experienced drag racer (neither am I). This being the case, his times will likely not reflect the power that he actually is putting down. So the alternative is what, another video of going dangerous speeds in a residential/populated area? Or perhaps we can flood this thread with more speculation.

I for one would like to see dyno charts first.

I still think the original motor popped.

We have been extremely busy here at the shop with various projects, tuning, etc....Sorry I haven't updated the thread sooner.

The car is all finished up and runs well. The motor did not pop. The car did make 740whp one time at 37psi on a 1.1CF. Keep in mind we were still tuning with VP Import as well.

Horrible wheel spin but you can see where it the car actually had some bite..

Graph scaled to actual grip on the dyno

We dialed the car back in on pump gas around 26/27psi and the car is a complete animal. Hopefully TJ will be getting some track time under his belt soon!

I promise you the original motor did not pop and is in perfect condition with perfect compression across the board.

That's because it's hard to tell anything from the dyno charts. It looks like a 4 year old took a crayon to a new piece of paper. No offense to DG, it just doesn't look like a clean pull was made or recorded.

The only proof we have that the motor didn't pop is DG's statement saying it didn't pop. Something just doesn't seem right about this whole experience. DG and TJ didn't appear to be excited about these numbers. DG and TJ were both really excited about everything until about 3 weeks ago, then everything took a turn for the worse. Then the results were given out in a very odd way. Instead it was a "oh ya by the way" post after myself and others pointed out no charts were ever posted.

This thread just doesn't appear to have the professionalism found in the threads made by most of the vendors on this site like AMS, CBRD, Buschur, etc. The way the first part of the thread was done was great minus the CF issue. However, the last 3 weeks have been odd to say the least.

um, maybe because no one gave us credit. We are all tired of the drama so we kept things quiet this time around. The car is still in one piece and running strong as day one. It put out great power. Charlie and I will do some final tuning on a dynojet in a few weeks and then we will blow the thread back up.

I understand the not being close to home thing, but to not update a thread like this in 3 weeks sounds a bit odd to me. I live 12 hours away from the shop where my car is and if I had a thread that was hyped up as much as this one was I would at least try and keep everyone informed of what was going on. Sorry, but the I live 3 hours away thing doesn't work for me for 3 weeks.

I find it very odd that you nor DG posted up the final numbers. Instead you just picked up the car and drove home without saying a word about how everything turns out. This leads my to believe that not only did you not meet your goals, but I would be willing to bet something else happened.
