they're cheap but not the cheapest because I think you have to buy a membership (silver, gold, ect) to their club. PCA is the cheapest around even with joining their club. From what I recall too, TT4C doesn't really have a novice program, its geared more towards advanced level drivers.

I'd buy a pair at that price too, even though I don't notice a 'lick' of difference between regular and lowered seating position.
Really?!?! Line of sight is greatly improved. I can no longer see my hood. The original seating position reminded me of a minivan and felt super awkward. (coming from a miata)

Plus COG is lower, -.01 seconds on each slalom cone.

PCA is usually around $330 for two days with an instructor. you get roughly 2hrs of track time per day with about the same amount of classroom time. If you don't need an instructor and you're a member its only $280 for two days.

I'm not the most observant person. I noticed a little difference, very little, but not much.

its all personal preference anyway. I like to sit close and super low, looking through the steering wheel. Not sure if they help me drive faster, but i enjoy the drive more, which is more important for everyday use.

parallel parking is certainly more difficult
