Damn mike. That's a small dilemma. If you need some stickers to get it on the street, let me know.

I said **** it i'm not gonna get drunk on light beer so I started pounding wine glasses

Alright, who wants to buy my 245/45/17 v710s? Like new. You could match them to a new pair and have no problems with diameters being different.

I just woke up from a nice 2.5hr nap.. 2 days at njmp really wore me out.
Just wanted to say thanks to AlwaysinBoost for allowing me to tag along with him. Having someone to guide me along and introduce me to a bunch of nice people is really helpful. We had a good time, I'll def be joining you a few more times this year.
Also, a big thanks to Jeff for allowing me to borrow his helmet, I think I made it proud. I'll give you a shout to figure out when we can meet up.
I had a great time, my instructor was really cool. Once he recongnized the total domination that was the silver evo in the green & yellow group he pretty much turned me loose and kept pushing me to go harder and use more and more of the curbing. He also said he signed me off to go to the next run group my next time out with them.
Thank you too Petey, my car ran great, no issues what so ever. My back bumper is still nice and clean too.
You guys who haven't done this before really need to give it a try, its like friggen crack, all I can think about is how I want to do more and more. Getting the waive by from 911 Turbos and a GT2 feels amazing.

On another note I finally have all parts for my car, 5 speed install to commence shortly. Crossing fingers there are no problems.

I wonder for transmission break in if the Exedy clutch break in I am doing - 1-3 third shifting and down shift 3-1 about 30 times 1/;2 hour cool and repeat - will be sufficient to break trans in too? Guess I will be finding out..

I agree that your best bet would be finding a semi-localmRS owner to trade components with. I can't imagine that new parts being affordable.

I'm not interested though.

glad you had a good time Pete. i knew you would get the bump before the weekend was over. Nice driving.

got a couple vids with my contour HD cam. quality is amazing on my PC but it gets a little reduced when you upload it to youtube. still though its much better than the last vids I posted since you can actually see whats going on.

this was the 2nd session of the day with a lot of good passing. I spent most of the day playing with two black 500whp 911 turbos and a 530whp GTR on R888's. it was really cool to hear and feel the GTR pulling away on the straights, same with the turbo Porsches.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSXFs2eq4Yk

this is the 4th out of 5 sessions, but the last one I did. I was chasing around Ian in his turbo 911. very humble guy but very fast around the track.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ml0zsmN2h8

and this one is from the 5th session @ lightning. there is a lot of good passing and high speed action in this one. This was day one of the event and except for one guy on the warm up lap of the first session, who I eventually passed back, I didn't have to point anyone by.

I still have a bunch of videos and data to go over when I get the time. I had two cameras rolling along with my EVOScan GPS logging. in addition to the Contour HD helmet cam I picked up an Iphone 4 this week and got this app called harry's lap timer that rocks. It gives you HD video overlayed with speed and g-force data along with a track map. I times your laps for you and lets you analyize the data. I still have to figure everything out but the program seems really cool. according to the app I did a best of 1:17.x on lightning and a 1:34.x on thunderbolt. thats over a 2.5 second improvement on TB and almost a second on Lightning. I have the videos on my phone but I just need to figure out a way get them off.

needless to say it was an awesome weekend. both mine and Pete's car perfromed flawlessly. Pete I'll figure out some way to get you that video but you're going to have to figure a way to flip it, lol.

I am looking to install a Viper 5901 car alarm in my IX. Can you recommend a shop near Collegeville/King of Prussia that will do this right?

It's working really well. Definitely a lot less body roll, even on the softest setting. I'll try it on the next setting to see how I'll like that later.

The little bit that ive talked to chris, he's been very personable and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with them when the time comes.

I believe he lives right near collegeville.
