I know, it sucks. I was loving the thurs-friday event I just did. Getting home from tracking for 2 days and still having the weekend to unwind was great. I really hate when I get home on a sunday @ 7pm and have to go to work the next morning... very hard to focus, lol.

yeah, I'm just now getting over the soreness from using various appendages to hold myself in my seat around the corners. Thats even with the ASM harness. I guess the only way around that is to get a bucket style race seat with a set of 6-points, but that will open up a whole different can of worms and I'm not ready to go down that path with the car, yet...

All I have to say is thank god for dead pedals.. I was bracing the hell out of myself with that thing. Marc (my instructor) did not think too much of the harness for tracking.. He said it was fine for autox, but no good for the track (too much of a risk for submarining).

I think Dan meant he will have them outside of their operating range if he did go to the track with them...and I would agree.

in the for what its worth catagory, I have a pair of used carbotech XP-10 front pads I'd be willing to let someone try out to see how they liked them. I'll be switching to XP-12s before my next event so these will be my backup set I bring with me to the track 'just in case'. There is more than enough pad material for a full day's worth of HPDE.

Only caveat is that you will need an equally aggressive set of rear pads or the bias will be screwed up. I tried running just XP10s up front with DS2500's in the rear and I was constantly into ABS because the fronts would bite HARD, but not the backs.

short video I put up on streetfire of me and a 530whp GTR on Toyo R888's playing around @ Thunderbolt. Dude in the GTR was having overheating/transmission problems and could only do a few hot lap till he had to back off and let things cool down. Notice how he would pull me hard on the straights, that thing sounded nasty!
