GTRs are absolutely mean. I don't think anyone can really appreciate the car unless they drive one. The car just wants to go all the time, in every gear. I've told a few people this, but its absolutely a task to drive it slow on the street. Petey has been tuning one, and he definitely agrees with how awesome they are. Absolutely no lag whatsoever....and thats my experience in the passenger seat as Chau drove.

Mark, a good friend of mine owns one. I still have driven it, but I will get to whenever I want. lol. I didn't watch the video, but was it red, with a lip and canards in the front? Could be your boy Jeremy from SSP. I met him at the NASA event a few weeks ago. He was there with John from Akuma. He was running 1.13s in that thing during RTA that Sunday.

wow, a 1:13 on Lightning is flying! The GTR in the vid isn't the one you're thinking of, but I've seen pics of that red one from the NASA event and it looks nasty. I can only imagine what it must feel like to do a lap with that much power... and grip.

do you know where the results from that TTA were posted?

Do you mean RTA (Real Time Attack?) I think GarageSpec has it posted on their website.

TTA is with NASA, and should be posted on NASA Northeast. 1.13 is flying, Thai can tell you all about running 1.13s.

Jeremy's GTR did not compete in NASA's Time Trials. I think he was running HPDE for practice, and then stayed the next day to compete in RTA. Since RTA is fairly new and small, they rent time for NASA events, but they're not associated. NASA TTA is a fun competition consisting of mostly local guys. Its fun watching them all talk sh*t in the pit, and then battle it out on track, and come back in to ***** at each other!

See the TTU Vettes running 1.10s. Holy sh*t sherlock!

thats pretty much how it goes at all track events, even autox. the **** talking starts in the pits and goes from there. Its all in good fun though and everyone is there with the same goal in mind; to have fun and drive as fast as possible.

Damn Chu, looking at those TT results I'm amazed at how Thai can get a 1:13 in an EVO. I'd love to hear about his setup...
