I would get rid of that down pipe for a 3". I cant believe all the mods you have and you are running that sissy size 2.5" pipe! Mine fits just fine BTW and its an old Buschur (which dont fit that great but mines works)

Also Honda dude is right, if you are all that get some dam R compounds already!

I would love to throw down on the track with you guys and teach you a thing or two Problem is I am scared! Not scared of the track per say but scared I will wreck car or myself. I assume you Autox guys that have seen some of my off road antics can appreciate my concerns... One of these days though....
I've got my OEM VIII turbo laying around, but thanks.

Mike I think you would kill yourself on a road course if you drove the way you do at an autox. still though I would like for you to 'school' me out there, so anytime you're ready pal.

and regarding the R-comps, I already said I'm a lazy **** and that I HATE changing tires at the track, or even in my garage. having said that, if one of you girls want to be my pit b!tch by all means I will haul the wheels if you do the work.

Non oem turbo or engine swap put it in non stock class.

Tires size and compound has points, so you can't use what ever you want. A6 has the most points orther than full slicks.

If you want to run free for all, run TTS and just have to worry about power to weight ratio. You're going to have to remove more than the evo 9 turbo to run TTA looking at your current mod list.

I think you have about 45 points to use to stay in TTA
sorry for all the questions, but other than the IX turbo what would i have to remove. I don't think I like the idea of running in an 'all out class' with my street car.

Kind of sad I never dress to impress and own a business.. Need to work on that.

My wife is taking my kid down the shore this afternoon until Sat. Why do woman do the opposite of what makes sense. I was away all last weekend, I am home this weekend and away next weekend Autoxing. Why not go away when I am away... that ish annoys me.
I think I will pick up a case of the NN, havent had that in a while and will be getting drunk tonight by myself..
Good luck with that... NN hasn't been available for months. I would say early march was the last time you caould find it. Also, your wife is going out of town because you'll be home, haven't you figured that out yet. My wife and I had that discussion a few weeks ago. She made plans for fri and sat night right after I was away tracking for 2days with Marc. I was like wft is that?

No NN! Man..... I guess I will have to find something then.. any suggestions?

Alright I would not school you but I would hang with you, same difference for an inexperienced track guy. If we went to Beaverun I would school you because I have driven there twice over 2 weekends and got real comfortable driving there. Same with Pocono (hate it there) been there quite a few times a few years ago. So I am not a total rookie. If I set my car up for a track day it would be on (28 lbs. of boost probably would not cut it). Just sayin.....

I have an idea for your tire problem. How about I co drive your car, I could be your tire and brake bish at the track. **** I will even haul that sucker there. It would be funny to see me run a better time than you first time out! If anything happens we will just take it somewhere and then call it in, all paid for! I think this is a great idea....

you're crazy. If I did something like that it would have to be an a 'safe' car, like something with a cage. This is my street car we're talking about here. I have two cars seats in it for hauling the kids when I'm not racing. its not a race car.

I used to have my son's car seat in my daily driver too, that is now a race car. You drive that truck daily, your Evo is a race car now like it or not. Who the hell tracks a daily driver as many times as you have been out there running around in that Evo.
So I will pick up your car, trailer it to track, change all tires and brakes for you either prior too or at event. I cover all fuel, you just supply the car. I even have my own wheels and tires.. So DEAL?!?!? Or is it you are afraid to get slapped in your own car (like what Cy did to me afternoon heat Sat.). Cmon . it will be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me know what dates and I will put it on my caleneder (really looking forward to it)

Thanks for the beer recommendations, I have had a case of Racer 5. That's some strong ish, I brought them to an event once too.
I think I will try the Flower Power or the Fish picture one. Gong to beer distributor shortly. My agenda this evening is BBQ a steak (need to P/U), power wash deck as I drink myself into oblivion. In between drinks bongs will be hittin!!!!!!!!!!

you're going to have to remove more than just the evo 9 turbo to run in TTA looking at your mod list. like i said you have about 45 points or so to use and stay in TTA, so it's up to you to remove what you think is not worth it. as i mentioned before, i don't think the cams are worth the 6 points in TTA. i would focus more on handling than power. my car only has intake, exhaust and IC pipes

that's why i like NASA rules, you have to figure out the right combination of mods that works for you.
