I'm just not a fan of the ATE line... I haven't used it so I shouldn't really say, but it has the lowest wet boiling point of many of the DOT4 fluids, thats all. I think your money is better spent on a different product. Motul, AMSOIL, Castrol SRF (cause your a baller).

Do you think those particular tires went up in price because "tis the season?"

I noticed that star specs went down over the fall/winter. Josh was just about to buy some then realized the sudden increase in price.

z1s are def a hot item right now as are the RS-3s. I was pricing tires earlier this week and noticed a lot of places are sold out of both in my sizes.

Wet boiling point doesn't matter because our fluids don't stay in there as long. In any case, the wet point fo teh ATE and RBF600 isn't that much different.

you need to stop messing around with street tires and step up to real r-comp tires

i don't have abs, so i want my brakes to be spongy so i don't lock them up. i mix 50/50 with water to get them wet

Jeff, have you thought of taking off your wheels and tires and drive on the rotors to see how loud it is?

If not? Good!

Your car does have alot of noises. Your drivetrain sounds like it has straight cut gears. Maybe it's just the minimalist RS and lack of sound deadening material. I think yours was the only one I've been in.
