Not to change the subject.

Marc, I was out at pep brothers yesterday looking for road wrap and mothers r3 with no success. Nobody had any idea what I was talking about. The one dude told me to order a vinyl bra for my car.

BTW, you would not have been the only car there on street tires in SM. The evo that came in behind me was on *specs (his car was pretty well setup other than hoosiers... running e85 on an hks turbo). The M3 was on bfg r1's... so probably not much better than a *spec for autox, if at all.

Corey is a machine in that bsp car. Wish it wouldn't have broken, as he and PJ were in a showdown Sunday morning. Mad props to Mike for donating his car to let Corey take a shot at it
I still would have gotten killed as my car is not set-up to be competitive... Thanks though.

I looked this morning when I got here to see if you were signed up yet. I'll register tonight.

Sorry guys, I'm out for the Trackdaze event. Running with PCA on the 16th-17th instead.

On my last run on left side I staged my car wrong and red lit, pissed me off. Reason being I had just killed the right side and was ready to lay it down on the left, I was feeling it. Lesson learned at Pro, when staging, roll in and light both staging lights up, roll out of stage then back in barely to get that second light lit. I think I was 3-6 inches to deep, rookie mistake on my part. My other issue was bogging the car at the line 4 out of 12 launches and clipping the first cone on course on right side twice. Funny how a bog equals good .505-.550 reaction with a crap 60' 2.0 - 2.3. I did have a few good ones though with 1.6 60's.
Yeah, I remember seeing/hearing his time and thinking, wow. He ended up 1.8sec ahead of you or something like that? Imagine that, the car broke from repetitive launches, that never happens.

Also, I thought the course would have been longer... Is 30sec or so about average for a National event?

haha, I went looking for that R3 stuff this weekend too. Went to Pep-brothers, Auto Zone and Advanced Auto. Neither place had it or knew what I was talking about... thanks a lot Chu for sending me on a wild goose chase.

Autogeek.net has the R3. I used it over the weekend on my buddies car and it works real well. The pro auto x looks crazy.

Don't use the leather cleaner/conditioner on your steering wheel even if it says "nongreasey". It's a lie! A lie, i tell you!

Pinnacle is some good stuff. I use their vinyl and rubber protection for my interior. BTW, I can get Mother's products with my AMSOIL account. Just saying.

Pro courses are typically shorter. They have two courses set on one lot, so there's not always enough room to make two 60 sec sides. I don't run Pro's all the time, but every one has been in the low 30 sec range.

The National Tour in two weeks should be nice an long. Mike, are you joining the SM crowd since BSP is non-existent?

The Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover I have seems to work just fine for rubber marks. It required very little effort to get the scuffs off. Just sayin'

I just cleaned all the leather in the Mazda over the weekend. I don't think it had ever been done, the fronts seats were pretty beat up. I used upolstery cleaner on them (even though is says not for use on leather), and then Meguiar's Leather cleaner. They came up real nice, but what a pita.

That would be the plan if we do not have enough to make a BSP class.

I only use it on my brake pedal. It helps a lot with the gas-brake transition when your foot slips off the brake pedal.
