Couldn't have put it any better.

James, what's wrong with it exactly? They can be rebuilt and its fairly easy, but I'm surprised there's a problem at all. I don't know that I've ever seen a Brembo go bad with so few miles on them.

the drivers side front is making a strange crackling noise whenever i pressed down on the brake pedal. We took the wheel off and was able to see that two or four pistons were not functioning and moving as much as the other two. so the pistons are not moving properly and the noise is concerning.

Sounds like the seals went bad and water got in and rusted the pistons. Who fixed your wheels? I had a good experience with Cliff Jacobs fixing mine. He said right upfront that welding rarely works and there is no guarantees at all, then he straightened, welded and shipped 2 wheels back to me for $190. I was really happy with the service.

I'm at pep boys and I see a new product called road wrap to protect the front of the car temporarily. Why not wrap the car before a track day?

Why use road wrap when you can cover your entire first half of your car in electrical tape then let it bake in the sun?

Some dude with a cayman did that at njmp.

True story.
