well waited until late last night, and after some side street tokyo drift action, made it home safely, albeit slowly. side of the car looks like it got dusted by a snow plow. oh well its all good.

i'm lucky i can get onto evom on this computer.

can't do anything on here. not to mention the fact that my history is cached and my keystrokes are saved.

 

i envy the free time some of you guys have right now. It looks like I'm going to be working 24/7 until the end of the year. I was at the office until almost midnight last night and back in a 7am to do it all over again. The only light at the end of the tunnel is that I'm not working on xmas day

accounting FTL and even worse, salary positions FTL

 

^^yea I feel yea. I have been posting in here to keep my sanity. I was here till 8 last night, prob 12 tonight, and work all weekend. same next weekend etc. I might get xmas day off, not sure yet. sucks big time but hey its a job at least

 

I'm glad I have a yob but this EOY stuff is brutal. We have projects that need their books done bi-weekly, monthly and even quarterly, but at the end of the year they ALL need them done and its like compressing 2 months worth of work into 2 weeks. Lucky for me I am the only one around that knows what needs to be done...

 

I was at work till 8 last night and back at 4 to run the salt truck again.

We just started a new book keeper so the EOY stuff is all getting done/looked over by me.

Oh and I have to be pleasant and hospitable for our company party tonight. Oh joy

 

goiod news is you know how everything needs to be done and by when....? Trying to stay positive.

i am used to doing bi-monthly, quarterly, fiscal year end etc crunches, but its the same for me. There a crushing a couple months of work into 2 weeks and they want everything done by the holidays....not going to happen...which is why I am just working and trying not to stress. it is what it is right?
