Thanks for the boost of confidence Marc! haha. Does past medical history play a factor in them? If so, im screwed haha.

I agree with Dan; when Im dead and gone, burn me up, toss me off a mountain somewhere out west, have a party with food and booz, and collect the money. 10gs for a box thats going to be buried forever, i get the point for sure, but no thank you.
pretty sure it does. They do a thorough physical/family history investigation.

would it be crazy to rebuild my freshly rebuilt shocks? lol we'll have to see after a few auto-x's but I have been thinking of a few improvements. Wish i could make small tweaks without needing a full rebuild.

Could just need to adjust driving style. Marc, your gonna drive my car this year, k? I will also hit up firebird and simmonz, but they tend to be pretty busy.
you would be crazy IMO to rebuild those shocks. total waste of money, again IMO. I would welcome the chance to drive your car. (subtle: I want to beat your time in your own car post)

Little Crazy? No, Just had them rebuilt as HD's, with a few tweaks. I do wonder if the tweaks were a bit aggressive for a DD, but I want to have some expert opinions about the balance on an auto-x course. I wouldn't call it crazy but economical as I bought them busted and cheap.

Do believe that the rear kyb's were blown, hence the difficulty in getting oversteer this season. With the new shocks, I'm not sure I need that rear bar I bought. I can power the tail out in a sweeper, and get some entry rotation easy with some trail braking.

Question is whether its faster this way

Yeah, I'll keep them this way, unless I am really, really convinced I can make the car quicker with tweaks. Even then it should probably be a next winter project.

hmm, so if you can't beat my time do I get your SM trophy? or do i have to beat you in your car??

you still planning to co-drive the m3?

if you want an expert opinion I would ask Corey, Cy, Simmons, Josh L. or Adam. Either of those fellows can diag. your setup quickly.

you've got to earn a trophy, but we can work some arrangement out to make it a little more interesting.

The M3 is the plan for now. Its a real fun car, but slow in its current state and we don't stand a chance at a trophy unless we throw a set of wheels/tires on the car and even then its still going to be a hard battle since Bob has over a decade of development on us. Besides, changing tires every event sucks, which is the reason I'm not running the EVO again.

Not going to lie, I also have some 'ideas' on what I want to do this season... still too early in the year to see if they will come to fruition yet.

I wish the phillySCCA would make a local Street Tire SM class. That would be dope. Limit the class to 140 treadware or higher tires but allow all the regular SM mods. That would REALLY open the class up, imo.

That would be Awesome. Have you formally suggested it? I'm just about to do so! Sounds like a great place for us ricers that have no need to be nationally competitive.
