i would like to know who all would be interested in coming to a new years party at my house this year? i plan to do it right too...including food and booze/beer etc. i just would like to get a ballpark idea of what the turn out would be like.

i would have to say no for me since there are too many dangerous cars out on new years. i have a good friend hosting a party in doylestown and i am backing out of it.

 

yeah it is pretty bad out that night. not to mention that chance of being DUI'd. you're welcomed to come if this comes to fruition.

 

sounds like fun since I may be back there for it, but there would be no way of me driving afterwards which is the problem. even if you were sober, you would get stopped or through a DUI check point. DC has free cabs all night to try an limit that....sweeeet.

 

 

FWIW, assuming that Septa is running on a regular Saturday schedule, the last train from Thorndale would leave around 11:15. Cops in that area don't mess around, and they'll be out in force for sure.

yeah i usually dislike new years but i figured a house full of food/beer/booze could help my opinion on the holiday.

when i lived in miami, i hated new years because i usually had more fun on a random friday than i do on that night. too much money and people trying to have the best night of the year.

 

my buddy is gonna host a private party at his restaurant in the city. you may have seen him at the gym.
