what to do, what to do... how about you swap wheels with me for a session or two next time so I can 'feel' the difference. kinda like try before you buy. Don't worry, I'll be real easy on them.

I was googling a few things about brakes and came across some dude asking about hot spots on his rotor on BMW forums and lol'd at this response

I had the same problem running in the green group at NJMP, when we unconciously decided to do parade laps. Braked constantly, and at every small curve on the track. It was frustrating.

Its too bad none of our choice tires come in 265s for a 17 inch wheels Pete.

Yes they do... StarSpecs, and their cheaper than 255's.

Wasn't certain if the 255's were good for street use. Also, i've heard that the 40's are a touch faster for autox, but the 45's are closer in height, and I like having a bit extra length to my gears.

Btw, I'm getting the mod bug...

What cams is everybody running?

Chu, know of any IX turbos for sale? (yeah, i should have bought yours)

On my first session, I definitely braked at every little curve. Then my second session I tapped the brakes before turn 5. Then my last two sessions I was only on the brakes at turn six and at the end of the straight.

I wish I could have kept going out until I was satisfactory at driving that track. I was getting sloppy toward the last session. So I guess I wish more that my house were in pit lane and I could do a few laps everyday to practice.

Ahh, never noticed it before. I would run those, but that would be pushing it with my offset.

255s would have been fine. I've daily driven 255s for the last 70k miles.

Running S1s. Honestly dont thing there's a better cam out there that are in the same class.

Ask Chip. He may have one. Marc may have one hiding on the shelf also!

Sounds like someone wants to join SM!

driver MOD would be my suggestion. rather than spending that dough on cams or a turboz, come do a track day with us fools. You will not regret it.

your performance on Sunday was a direct result of the driver mod... its wasn't your suspension tooning!

Not really, I honestly just want to work on the car. Maybe I could buy some bushings or other small things to fill the need.
