Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
^^ your going to freaking love the GLEN. such an awesome layout and nice area. good places for burgers and beers afterwards, and the road up to the track is just long, straight, filled with fast cars.
I hear VIR is comparable, looking forward to getting down there in august

I'm thinking it has to do with the pins and plate in the calipers. thats the only thing i didn't replace/.
Ryan, hopefully I can try VIR next year. I have a couple buddies that go down at least once a year, but with it being an 8hr drive one way I'm going to have to cash in some serious brownie points with the wife to make it work. The Glen was the next logical step, since its much closer its an easy sell.
plus the glen in the summer time is epic. super nice up there. if you get a chance while your up there, stop by Ithaca. The brewery is right down there, tell them Ryan sent you. they put together a couple of cases of uber fresh Flower Power and some other goodies.
if you like good beer, swing by. free tasting, and there new "Thirteen" is delicious.

I'm going with a bunch of German Porsche owners, I'm sure there will be copious amounts of alcohol being consumed each night.
this is going to be an expensive weekend...
$450 = Registration
$208 = Hotel for 3 night
$350-$400 = probably what I'll spend on gas for the weekend
$100 = food
$1,158.00 estimated spend not including consumables like tires and brakes
at this point I think a meth addiction would be a cheaper alternative.

I'm registered. You should go. The novice class was a big help to me. I've been getting a little lax of late, hoping this class will help with that.
Its worth it just for the seat time and you get one free philly event, which offsets the cost a bit.

I'm questionable for the EMRA event after trackdaze simply because it's really adding up.
I also feel guilty spending hundreds of dollars when I should be saving it for my wife and unborn child. I feel like the father in Angela's Ashes where the kids go down to the bar to stop drinking away all the "money for the baby."

I may join you
It's a shame they got rid of all the half-stance talk. It really made that thread much more enjoyable. In all seriousness, Half-Stance is only slightly more ridiculous than what a lot of those guys are doing to their cars.

Yeah, i don't get that thread either.
Ben, I forgot to say congrats on throwing it down in BSP-T last event. I saw the results and it looks like it was a good battle. Bob (with the e36 M3) is a very good with around 13 years of experience too, beating him on equal rubber is no small task.
Also Chau held it down in novice. what a close finish for the top 3-4... all within half a second.
I know this is old news, but I just wanted to mention those things cause I was pre-occupied earlier in the week.
Exactly. I beat ben in his car AND my car. So it had to be my new setup last weekend ... right?
Joking aside. Though I learned alot driving with the rsb on, I was disappointed with my lack of discipline in certain sections of the course. Not sure if that would have made up 1.5 seconds though
I'm hoping that with the *specs, rsb set to soft and a bit more focus, I can give ben some better competition in tbsp.
Losing to a bmw is unacceptable. lol
