Had fun yesterday, Pete spun out while I was hot on the course behind him. Good thing the group at Station One were awake to flag me down. Chasing cones is f'n dangerous I almost got hit by an FMOD because someone at my station left to put up the roof on his car for the drizzle and never returned.

Chu, I didn't buy those RS3s, scuff in my ***.. when I met up with the seller (Jon) he then said he did 4 autox and 500miles DD. Looks like 4/32 not 6/32 and a full season. Needless to say I no buy.

Also got a couple of ACD programs reflashed by Matt.

 

Bilsteins w/GTWorx. Not interested in more spring, I like the way the car rides. Bigger bars would be the way I would go, just cost so much damn money to replace the front... I also met Matt yesterday. Seemed like a nice guy, just too bad I don't have ACD to play with.

Nice and dry yesterday with over cast. Drove Brian Puca's for one time season yesterday and rover jordans evo for one timed session today.

My student today is audi r8 v10 = 160mad mph on straights without even trying.

 

Just started some rain with heavy storm coming soon.

 

i'm entering a car bowling event this saturday. Don't think you guys are big into the drag racing thing, but i did a test and tune 2 weeks ago, and had a s-load of fun. This'll be the first competition I've entered other than 2 autoX's and 1 rallyX.

Doing the event as my local shop wants some representation in the street tire class, since they'll be racing in the slick tire class. Event is imports only, so I think my car has a real chance of placing.

Only issue is, i have hardly any drag racing experience. So, I'll be happy as long as i do a 1.7 60ft on street tires- though a 1.6 would be optimal. The classes only have two rules, lol. Both classes have to be an import/sport-compact, and you're either in slick tire class, or street tires. So, we're gunna tune my car on c16 this week for the event. Currently I just run 93octane.

So, I'll let you guys know how it goes, hopefully have some vids/pics of the event. Car bowling is better than no competition at all; in my eyes

I told you $400 is still too much even if it had 6/32. He's got a co-driver for that car too, so I'm sure they beat on them.
