I doubt he will drive 3 hours in to do the event, but I hope he does!

So, who wants to join me for the Planes and Porsches event in Reading this August?

3hrs... thats madness!

anyone have suggestions for brake pads or radiators? I'm going to try something other than carbotech xp10s this time for the front just because. I'm also looking for a good quality rad that will out perform the stocker, which seems to do an excellent job of cooling already.

What day is it and where is it at. Im busy Saturday. I wouldn't mind if its in philly, I could hit up some south philly Pho. I don't have tires, so we'd have to use yours unless we run street tires. My car would be in xp because of the cage welded to rear shock tower and no carpet.

Or you can come to hershey for one of our events and you can drive my car also. But you're not allow to beat me in my car, which you probably will cause im not autox junkie like you

the event is in Warminster, which is north/west of the city. I think that might be closer than philly for you. Its a community park so its a very laid back environment. The course is setup on an old air strip. it will probably be around 50-60 seconds or so and you'll get 4-5 runs depending on attendance. No problem using my tires or running in XP and I can even have you work with me in Tech so you don't have to stand around on course all day.

I wouldn't mind coming out to Hershey for an event sometime. I'm no junkie either... I've only done this autox thing a couple of times.

Marc, I really like my CBRD radiator and I have a SPAL slim fan thingy on it. My car has never come close to overheating antifreeze, oil temps are always the issue for me.

If I do go, I might run first heat in the street tire class so I can get home quickly. I'd really like an event on the streets before the NSTC on the 16th.
Really? I think you should have the wifey call me and I will straighten her out. Autox takes priority over baby sitting visiting family members....

Raybesto ST43 or CL RC-6 to good options. I've used both, and they're very good pads. Thai has both, and probably have better feedback than I do. The RC-6s don't even need to bee warmed up, but they are stupid loud when feathered.

As for radiators, I had a mishimoto, which was pretty good. Its a thicker core than OEM, and cheap if you get it through Petey. I ran a full summer without a fan, and didn't have cooling issues...although that is all dd and autox. I'm now on the CBRD with their slim fan, and it works great. Its slimmer than stock by maybe about 1/4 inch, and seems to be working very well. I''m running 70/30 water to coolant, and the engine temps seems to be very stable. I would like to get a water temp gauge just to get temp readings though. I've read that CBRD follows better than even Koyo, but who really knows. BTW, Ricky gets Koyos for really good prices.

Not according to the latest run groups... Either way, if I make it I'll be on streets for the practice.

Looks like its a 2.5 hours drive. How about you come out to the reading one and you can codrive my car.

I have a points event at pocono in two weeks and I want to make sure the car survive for that.

I've always like carbotech. I've st43 that came with the car but haven't got a good use out of them to make any judgment. Tim let me use a used set of rc6 on friday and I like them. I use dtc70 because they are cheap but I always get pad deposit and brake shutter when pads get half way, andthe dust is corrosive to the wheels and paint.

You guys are getting the shaft at Warminster, SM should run first this event. Looks like its going off 2nd heat, maybe they'll jugle things around and you guys can get out earlier.
