wow, awesome video Thai, thanks for posting. I remember looking back in my rear view after that section and seeing smoke/you spinning. I wish I had my camera going that time you hung the tail out all the way thru T5.

so much to comment on I don't know where to even start. some of my highlights were:
taking my wife for a ride and not getting her sick.
Dan dominating the green group like no other.
taking Kenny for his first lap around the track.
Chu spinning not once, but twice. Ok, that wasn't really a highlight but I don't know of anyone else who spun twice in the green group at a DE, so that is worth mentioning.
last but not least running with some fast ****ing cars.

I agree about CHu being bad luck though. He was in my car on the last session and I lost my brakes at the end of the straight. as I started to brake the pedal went straight to the floor. scared the **** outta me! I yelled "no brakes" and just kept pumping the pedal. thankfully I was able to slow down enough and still make the turn. guess its time to put those brake ducts back on.

 

thanks for offering the rotors Marc. the brake shutter was so bad that i couldn't even drive the car. good thing Tim let me used his CL pads to clean the hawk deposit off the rotors. The CL rc6 worked great all day, i might even purchase a set to use.

also thanks for the ride along. you were every fast through some of the turns and brake very late. i wish i had abs in my car to have to confidence to brake that late without flat spotting my tires, which i did flat pot my rear tire from trail braking at the octopus entry. i'll have to do some research on swapping abs into the RS. you should definitely get into Time Trials, you have the pace to run up front.

I did off twice, 1st session and 3rd session of day 1. Both in the same turn. There were no mishaps on day 2.

 

Andy, you still have a couple more laps left on those pads. Tiebout drove his all the way down to the backing plates :P

 

Yeah, I had a few more mins on those. But didn't want to risk damaging the discs. If the discs were closer to being done, I would have gone out for another 15 mins. I used pads all the way to the backing plate in the past...

You guys weren't the only ones racing! I was dominating the drag strip....well, not exactly, but I was the fastest Evo out of the 5 there.

My best of the night was a 12.8 @ 107mph.
