I only recorded about half what I originally thought. I have 3 sessions on my helmet cam and two of them suck cause of black flags.

 

this is how you properly scalp a tire
i had a bad rear lockup on thrusday and flat spot a tire. i didn't really feel any vibration from it. this is what it looks like by the end of friday. good thing i didn't go out on the last session because i didn't even notice it till i to the wheel off to put street tires on. that could have been a bad blowout. that's down to the steel core. i was only checking the outside of the tires for cords.

from those pics, looks like your car is pretty flat thought the corners. did you get any laps time from your app

 

That crap timer only worked half the time and when it did work it would group a bunch of laps together. Best laps i saw were 1:38's from the first day.

 

my lap timer app did the same thing. the satellites signals have been getting worse over the years. the gps apps used to work flawless years ago. that a fast lap on street tires.

i think Tim got a 1:35.1 when we were there several weeks ago with transponders. i got a 1:38 with those crappy koni tires.

 

I thought with the addition of that external GPS those problems would be a thing of the past but it doesn't really matter. from what little research I did I've read the problem is the start/stop trigger is on the straight, which is the fastest part of the track. the satalite doesn't pick the signal up too well because the car is moving at a faster rate. but if you move the POI to another spot that isn't so fast it will work. I have to figure out how to do that though.
