Pete is right. Per Carbotech the XP10 goes up to 1650*... the XP 8 is 1350*, so the ST-43's fall kinda in the middle @ 1450*. My only reservation is whether or not that temp delta between the two pads is going to make much difference. the last thing I, or anyone, wants is the pads to fade an the end of a long straight when you really need your brakes!

sonamagun... i just realized that i'll be at Lightning with nasa on aug 7th, so i can't do the Reading autox. sorry about that. if i can squeeze out a couple bux from my wife, i might be able to go to warminster this sunday but it's going to be hard since i just register for Pocono next weekend
that is about the dumbest website I've ever come across. I wonder how/if they ever get any orders. I called and left a message, hopefully someone will return my call.
Thai, you suck! Unless you can make warminster, then you're alright in my book again.

Dan,
Marc is right and so are you, technique is most important and driving correct line makes for some fast runs. Still I say floor it in the straight, no harm or break in concentration unless you let it, right. my worthless $.02
In all seriousness you should do what ever you feel comfortable with, no need to overdrive the car or drive past your own limits.
