my car is 99% ready to go for The Glen. On sunday I did the following:

Inspected and measured rotors
installed new ST43 front pads
nut & bolted whole car
changed and sampled engine oil (this should be good)
bleed brakes and clutch (2 bottles of AMSOil fluid)
re-installed brake cooling ducts (I don't care if I need them or not, after losing the brakes @ TB i never want that to happen again).
Boost leak test performed
reinstalled OEM airbox

still to do:
change plugs
have RT corner balance, inspect and re-align car
dominate ???

maybe:
change OEM front o2 sensor & replace Innovative WB o2, both are dead from running leaded gas @ NJMP

Why do you feel it needs to be re-aligned again, the wheels and tires? Did you do any driving on teh 43s, curious as to how they feel?

I just bedded the 43's in on the street. initial impressions are that they don't bite as hard as the xp10's. that might have something to do with the fact they aren't/weren't 100% bedded in when I drove on them. after letting them cool and transfering more material to the rotors that may change. the 43's do have a very progressive feel to them though, the harder you push the harder they bite. One wierd thing I experienced was that it felt like i locked the tires up at one point while bedded, but I didn't actually feel ABS kick back.

the alignment @ RT is because I had Pat set me up with more camber on the left side to compensate for all the clockwise tracks I run. we were trying to balance performance and tire wear. Now that I know its OK to run tires backwards (in the dry) I'm going to max it out all around, not just on the left side, and rotate tires accordingly. The corner balance thing is because i was to take full advantage of the suspension. If I can get the car more neutral maybe i can go faster in the corners and come out harder. I also want to see what the car weighs in at on something other than a DOT truck scale.

Did you put in leaded gas by mistake? I buy the bosch wb 02 from autozone with one year warranty and take it back for a new one before the year is up even if it's not broken.

you and your autozone parts

no it wasn't by mistake, it was out of greed. 110 leaded is only $.50 more per gallon at NJMP than 100 unleaded. I probably ran 6-10 gallons of the stuff mixed in with regular 93 oct. for some reason it only takes a very little bit to kill my sensors. I am going to look into the autozone replacement though, thats a good idea.

I don't think I've killed mine yet, I've probably ran 20 gallons of the stuff by now.

South Jersey region scored a massive Airport runway right outside of AC. It is Bader Field, across from Kerbeck Chevy and Cadillac.
Here's a google map of the place, check out the Satelite pics, place is really big...

First event is end of this month, Simmonz is going down there to help Andre build a great course.

I'm confirmed for P&P. Wish I was able to do the PCA thing with you Marc, but I'm sadly not advanced enough to be solo'd. Scary thought of me driving by myself! lol
