Tim, run 225s. I'm running 225 General Altimax Artics, and they are awesome.

I guess you can try them to check fitment. There were some discussions of that last winter, and I thought of it. But there were some comments about it being tall and possibly hitting the shock. Can't hurt to check. I have a bare set of BBS at home you could borrow for testing

You never know, you could still squeek it out. Cook has been been beating me consistantly too. I think both of you guys are ahead of me in points at the moment. I was also contemplating not doing the Dover event. I didn't think the lot was very good, and its kinda a haul. We'll see...

If it was a 215/50 I would say yeah, a 55 is pretty tall though. Give it a shot and see how it works.

Let's not talk about that anymore. I don't want all of the other PCD drag boys coming in here and shoving it in our faces.

We understand, Chu. It must have been hard to get heat into those tires yesterday...

F-that. Give credit where its due. Tim came in with only 2 or 3 days previous autox experience and layed the smackdown on everyone at the event. that deserves recognition in my book.

You had some pretty good runs yourself. If only you wouldn't of banged a cone or two, you would of been right there.

What tires do you have? They seemed to grip well in the rain.

Why am I a drag racer? Because I launched at 5k at the start every time?

Thanks Marc. That's 1.

I actually don't know what made the difference. Maybe tires? I know the R1R's are supposed to be good in the rain, but I don't know how big a difference they make. I'm not expecting this result at many events.

I do have video and pics of most everyone. I'll try to get them up tonight and post links.
