Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
True tires make a very big difference but if you don't know how and when to gas, brake and turn they won't help that much. To be able to do what you did on only your 3rd ever autox is very impressive. especially considering some of the guys you were up against, myself included, have a few years of experience (and an evo school) under their belt.
You really should consider giving autox a shot even if only for a couple event to see if you like it. If I still had my CCW's and A6's I would let you run my car just to see how you do. Just imagine if you did an EVO school (which is worth about a year of seat time) and started to get pointers from the fast guys in our region... it would be full of Nguyen.

Tim deserves some serious credit. he killed it. super smooth, launched the living **** outta the X at every start, showed everyone up. well done sir. (take careful consideration before joining team dominatrix, there into some super "friendly" stuff. Other Tim: 2 off courses then a sub 60 secs, that deserves credit too
im pissed at how i ran. i think my best time was 61.4xx. I need to learn the lesson of throttle control. i kept going in too hot then had to ease off the gas to get the front end to grip and not push.
i was following race car drivers advice: dont stop in middle of race, thats not fast. and do what ricky bobby does: just go fast. either way i saw improvement (in time) every single run so its a start. still had a blast and my dad had even more fun.

I think Tim (warminster) ran a 57.x +1 cone. if that was clean it would have been the fastest RAW time of the day. Too bad you couldn't keep it clean...
Thai also would have had the fastest RAW time if he didn't take a short-cut thru the course.

Ryan you're a nut. 190 miles for a few sub 60 second passes.. you are a perfect candidate for a track day
travel half that distance to NJMP and get 100x the amount of seat time FTN! (for the Nguyen)
