Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I just got a set of Conti extremecontact DWS's for the Audi. I drove them in what was close to a flash flood yesterday, and they were very solid. They Conti Pro's that were replaced had around 1/32" of tread left.
They would be boring on an Evo, but they appear to be nice tires for all-seasons.

Howdy
WTF is up with PCD this weekend?!
BORING I come in here to be entertained... NOT entertaining this weekend fo sure
Nice that it rained all day and I got nothing cleaned for the big trip, truck is dirty inside and out. Car is just plain dirty ... I still have to get Trans fluid changed, tires swapped and I guess I am going to Allentown to pick up some E85, even though E85 is everywhere in Nebraska.
I did fix my power door lock (sort of) on truck, got my diff fluids changed (so ripped off by this place by my house, sick of them, $250 to change diff fluids... really). Tires and wheels are in truck to run over to Just Tires tomorrow. So I guess I am almost ready.
Other news is Friday's Thunderstorms blew my Xfinity Modem / router but no other equipment? Strange so I had to goto Comcast service center in norristown and got a replacement, except my other one was nicer, had built in router. The replacement modem is a piece but it works and I had a router, so no bigs....

Mike, that same storm blew out a cable and router (verizon) too. My garage door opener isn't work either. I don't know if it needs a fuse or what. I need someone that knows about this crap too look at it.
Meanwhile BMW CCA event was fun and interesting at the same time

does the door opener not even try? if you have infrared sensors to see if anything is under the door, make sure those face each other or the door won't open.
Usually when there is something in the beam my garage door opener light flashes. You can tell if there is power, which I assume Dan has none. I would try looking it up in manual to see if there is any kind of fuse. Also make sure you have power to outlet opener is plugged into. If none of above sounds like a trip to sears is in order to purchase a new one.
James and mike,
When I push the button to open it the light clicks on but the opener doesn't do anything else. It also clicks the light on when I cross over the beam too. Nothing is in the way but I'll check again.
I'll look in the manual to see if there is a fuse to replace in it.
