Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
FWIW I just put the MAP one on my car. Seems like a solid piece. I did a little porting and polishing on it before installing, but not much. Mainly flange to body transitions that were a little misaligned. Between that and a p&p on the exhaust mani and turbine housing, I hit the same load cells at max torque with 2psi less pressure and the top end was way better.
That was the only thing that didn't make sense on my car when I bought it. Full exhaust, S1 cams, intake and ic work... stock O2 housing.

Why VG remove itself from roof, taking out my antenna, all while doing 125mph down front straight at Lightning?
Because fast fu**ing racecar
And cheap a$$ 3m tape!
Not going back to the VG again, not after that... My instructor and I thought I blew a tire, scared the hell out of me. Also, I think I need an axle or a wheel bearing, car is making some funny noises from the driverside. Other than all that, it was a fairly good weekend. They had me in the novice group, which pissed me off at first. I did all 8 sessions over 2 days, I didn't point a single car by, not 1.

Crazy that they put you in novice but dan got soloed. Lol
The VG broke in half at the antenna, the pass side was still intact.
They solo'd me for my last session as well. Tried to move up earlier in the weekend, but they claimed it was too full.

Don't feel so bad. We lost Leo's VG in Ohio this weekend. Ben was on his second qualifying pass and it blew off around the 1000' mark. The Summit crew picked it up and was bringing it back down the track. Some kid pulled them aside and convinced them that it was his. He took off and we never saw him again. We were all either tending to Ben, taking a poop, or stuck up in the Grand Stands watching. I would never put one of these on after all these stories keep popping up.
^ thats messed up.
I was actually just going to text you and see if you wanted to race*.
*by race I mean see who can get their car back on the road first.
