i took a bus from 69th street a few weeks ago and i'm still torn on whether there are bigger winners on the subway or the bus.

on the bus, the driver was yelling at all the winners. that doesn't happen on the subway. but on the subway, weak *** high school kids trying to be tough start with every white dude they see.

I grew up in the NE, where Chu lives isn't considered the NE... not exactly what its considered but I thought it was the Olney/Kensington area.

dtown too. it's crazy how it's changed. when my parents moved to marchwood in the late 70s there wasn't much for a grocery store. there was felix's and swan's pantry. i'm sure you know both of those.

i don't know when the acme that was by the mall was built.

the cantor driving school is going strong! there are usually two cars going around the lot down at the granite run mall pretty early on week days.

i meant to tell you that a few days ago when i saw them.

i wish i could start a basic driving school business. the start up is quite hefty. having to pay PA like 10 grand for small business start up fee doesn't help.

My parents moved here from West Conshy in 74, there wasn't anything out here besides Marchwood Shopping Center and corn fields.

Felix's was just a little general store with meats/fish and fresh donuts... Swanns wasn't in Marchwood until the late 80's. Fiori's was the grocery store in Marchwood, when they moved out Swann's came in yrs after that.

That Acme was built till the late 80's as well, it used to be a Heckinger's, and Kohl's used to be a Clover.
