That sucks Marc but that's what I was expecting given your symptoms. In all likelihood the timing belt tensioner pulley wasn't properly torqued and the hydraulic tensioner wasn't able to compensate enough. Throw some high RPM in there and the belt stretches just enough to pop off.

 

Talked to Greg at GSC. I'll have the motor back next Friday!

 

You guys should feel privileged. Pete has not responded to one text or phone call all day but he had enough time to read this thread and respond. he sounds like a lot of vendors on here....lol

 

I forgot my phone at home. I worked 18 hours monday, slept for 4 hours, and I am still at work. I feel like Big jayms. All while I only have one car, since the evo is still at the body shop (they won't let it go unless I fix the pulled fender mod). It is supposed to be done this week, as of last week.

Not really, +30.. I just want to be able to run 265/35 without having to worry at all.
