If my climbing plans fall through this weekend, you are more than welcome to co-drive my car.

Its a lancer evolution, btw.

Chu knowing what I know now I wouldn't hesitate to do it. I was worried about extra noise messing with the knock sensors so I decided to keep them in there.
Alot of the BS eliminator kits wear out the bearing prematurely.. Do so research before you buy one..

I thought the AMS kit was designed to prevent the bearings from premature failure.

Not to sound too much like Ryan, but now I'm thinking maybe I'll just build the block while everything is down... anyone have any suggestions which way to go or if there is a decent long block/short block available for sale?

I would like to go no higher than 9:1 comp so I can continue to run pump gas, other than that its game on! Lets hear your thoughts...

I should have prefaced my previous post with "not to sound too much like Ryan, but I am thinking of building the motor now".

At 12k, you should top out well over 200mph.

my goals are to dominate at HPDE, plain and simple. I want to drink 93 octane and spit fire. I want to win 1st prize at every HPDE I attend. Anything less will be considered FAIL.

^ you totally need a fireball-on-downshift tune then.

Hmm, why not just blueprint and refresh the motor. Go for less rotating mass and reliability ... rather than big power.
