Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Car is at RT/Tuning now. Vince is going to dig into it and let me know what he finds hopefully today sometime. Best case I just need to install a balance shaft eliminator kit, worse case I need a new motor.
What didi you think of the ST's on course? I kept getting abs when I was bedding mine on saturday? I think that was due to cold tires though...

Do you have any more autox plans? Maybe joining me at the Holbert for at least one day?
That sucks man. You had it flatbedded from NY, when did you get back?

I have a wedding sat night- it ill be one exhausting day! I'll just double up on my cocaine.
trying to look on the bright side, now that the EVO is @ RT I have room in the garage to start working on the E30. I pulled it in yesterday and started to tear it apart. I was pleased to discover that thing is in amazing shape for its age. The PO took excellent care of it. All i need to pass inspection, IMO, are two new front tires.
I'm still going to replace a bunch of stuff before it goes back on the road though. Timing belt, water pump & thermostat, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, all the fluids and throughly clean the 20yrs/200k worth of oil build up off the motor.

I didn't really get a feel for the tires or brakes. I had one session in the rain, one in the damp and the third and last session was dry but I only got 3-4 laps in till my mishap. However, I did notice it was a LOT easier to hit abs, and I couldn't use/didn't need as much pedal pressure to do so. It might have had something to do with the tires needing to be scrubbed in or the fact the track was a little moist still. I can't say I was thrilled with their performance but it also wasn't a full test. NJMP this weekend, if I can be up and running, will tell the tale.
