Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Yeah, sux. I'm driving to pgh Sat night and wanted to leave early. Then I saw we are 3rd heat. The run order was reset because of some class movements in the run groups, so we start back at 3rd heat. Gonna be a long day for me, too. Hour drive to Warminster, out in the sun all day, hour drive back. Shower and hop in the truck for a 5 hour drive to pgh.
The best part is that we're staying at the inlaws, where I get to sleep on a 15 year old pull out sofa bed... you know, the kind that leaves you feeling like you just fought 9 rounds the night before.

get an air matress, suntan lotion, and some COCAINE!

that really sucks man. Hopefully they can get it up and going for you for this weekend. What did you think of the track?
So I almost got my alignment fixed. Toe was quite a bit off (dan, go GFY yourself).
I'm still not 100% happy, had to wait over an hour for the car to get on the alignment rack, and then the tech took the liberty of reducing my negative camber.
The shop owner is super nice, and offered to put the car back in the shop, but I let it go. He would have put the same lousy tech on the car.
What I'll probably do is wait a week or two, and specifically ask for a different tech. Or take it to a different shop (alignment is warrantied).

Go F myself?
If you "reduce negative camber" don't you make it more positive or add camber rather than reduce. Chew on that a while, sweetie!
Just kidding. He probably tried to set it really negative per your request but couldn't 0 out the toe for whatever reason.

I meant what I said.
I thought about phrasing it that way, but since "camber" generally means -camber, i thought my description was less ambiguous.
You are somewhat correct, the tech was more concerned with fixing the toe, than preserving my camber settings. Another reason that the tech sucks. I hate standing in the shop badgering them, but this guy actually needs some coaching.
I had -2.7 and 0 toe up front. I doubt that going from 235 -> 245 width tires would prevent anything less than -2.3. (dont see why it would matter at all).
btw thanks for trying to be a d!ck, honey pie.
(not kidding)
