my logger shows that my fastest lap of the day was in the last session when i was giving Vinh a ride, which was when my front and rear pads were down to less than 2mm, so i was braking early and also didn't want to risk anything with passengers in the car. i was braking early and took a conservative line. with all that excuse out the way, i managed a 1:38.312 on Kumho XS 255. on hoosier 255 R6, i ran 1:34 in a less than optimal conditions. so marc was definitely flying at 1:37 on street tires, you gots skillz homie.

my logger shows a top speed of 130mph and i was braking early. my boost was set at 22psi, but it would taper down to 18 psi on top end. also, when i was following Grillo down the straight, he was pulling a car length from me till the brake zone. probably do to my aero drag of front splitter and rear wing.

Jimmy, you sure that isn't just pad transfer? Happens a lot when tracking.

the steering shook violently when braking at high speeds if I was to hot into a turn and braking, the steering was fighting me so much from the vibrations.- normal highway traffic I feel no significant vibrations.

My instructor who saw the problem and also uses carbotech pads suggested my rotors were warped after 4 sessions and a bedding procedure done by NNR.

James, didn't you just replace them recently? I thought I remember you asking about rockauto or something?

Zabes, you looked good out there for your first time on track. I thought that might have been your car.

yea, i did enjoy the track layout. wasn't looking to put in and flying laps or what not this time, just shaking the loose the cobwebs and dial in the suspension. car was nice and neutral with good turn in, my big letdown was the lack of traction from my tires should be good when i get my star specs back on

I had a **** load of fun yesterday. I'm glad I didn't bring any beer home too.

James, you're positive they are warped? Brakes do a lot of funny things on the track when they get hot. Mine were vibrating badly and my pedal was really soft during the last session. Once things cool down and you work all that pad material off the rotors everything is normal again.

^My pedal got soft down the straight in our last sessions together also...lol. Was running ST43s yesterday, and barely wore them. I like these pads.
